The NJDEP Office of Natural Resource Restoration (ONRR) awarded Middlesex County a $1,354,972 grant to construct a waterfront public park and new sports fields along the Arthur Kill in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.  Najarian Associates prepared the application for this grant on behalf of the County, and previously secured a $4.1 million NJDEP Hazardous Discharge Site Remediation Fund (HDSRF) grant to remediate the brownfield site that will be used to develop the park.  The new park will provide two new synthetic-turf fields for organized public sports, and a waterfront esplanade for public enjoyment.
