Middlesex County Fire Academy (MCFA)
Najarian Associates provided a range of services to address MCFA's non-compliances issues related to ten underground storage tanks (USTs) and oil-water separators ranging in size from 550 gallons to 20,000 gallons. Our firm designed and implemented a pre-closure soil and groundwater investigation to prepare cost-effective closure plans, with variances approved by NJDEP. Also, our staff: (1) prepared public bid documents for the removal of USTs and installation of underground oil-water separators and aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) ranging in size from 2000 to 25000 gallons; (2) designed leak-detection monitoring and various pump operation control systems; and (3) provided construction inspection/administration services. Currently, Najarian Associates is providing client contact, construction management, and regulatory compliance oversight services.
