History

The firm was formed in 1979 by two former MIT researchers and operated under the name of Najarian, Thatcher & Associates, Inc. Originally operating out of an office in Bergen County, the mission of the company was to bring newly developed approaches to solve real-world hydraulic and environmental problems. Today, the company remains just as committed to providing its clients with innovative engineering solutions as it did over 35 years ago.

By 1982, operating under its new name, Najarian Associates expanded its services in the area of land development and planning, and relocated to Monmouth County. Shortly thereafter, the New Jersey engineering firm expanded once more, this time adding a survey division and moving to its current Eatontown offices.

Growing into a full-service consulting firm, in 2001, Najarian Associates established a Public Services Division to serve an expanded client base that included county engineering departments and local municipalities. In 2013, Najarian opened a regional office in Lavallette, New Jersey to better serve those who endured Super Storm Sandy.

Ultimately, Najarian Associates is committed to providing outstanding engineering and surveying services for all of its clients. Consistently on the forefront of technology, the firm’s applied research capabilities are, at their core, designed by science and engineered for results.

Plan. Design. Execute.
