Najarian Associates develops and applies hydrothermal and water quality models for reservoir and lake systems. Typically, the goal of such analyses is to assess potential eutrophication impacts of major water-diversion projects.  Najarian Associates developed and published a hydrothermal/water quality reservoir model (LA-WATERS), and applied this model for the Wanaque Reservoir TMDL.  In addition, the firm has conducted model assessments of the Monksville Reservoir, Oradell Reservoir, Dundee Lake, Franklin Lake, Waterloo Lake, Saxton Lake, Johnson Pond and Jackson Pond.  Representative projects are listed here.
