·         Regional and local-scale probability assessment for potential occurrence of Natural/Geo-Hazards (earthquake, seismic faulting, soil liquefaction, tsunami, landslide, rock fall, slope failure, volcanic activity, erosion, karsts and sinkholes, uplift and subsidence, uneven settlements, structures, etc.), and geological/geophysical-related risks.

Risk Management

·         Increasing public awareness with respect to natural hazard risks and options available to reduce those risks (i.e., land-use planning and regulation, public information and education, mitigation strategies).
